- My name is Ron Edwards. I live in Georgia. I have been lettering race cars and painting since I was a kid. I really enjoy it. I have worked on several movies such as My Cousin Vinnie, Smokey and the The Bandit, Six Pack, Driving Miss Daisy, Decoration Day, The Cold Sassy Tree, Sharkey's Machine, Mutant, Living Large, and more. Also, I worked on the TV shows In the Heat of the Night and I'll Fly Away. I have also done some work for USF&G, Valvoline, Coca Cola, The Georgia Lottery, Mathis Dairy, IBM, Uncle Ben's, Delta, Krystal, The Georgia Tourism Division, and more. This is a painting I did because it reminded me of Texas.
Lakewood Speedway Protrait
This is the painting I did to represent Lakewood Speedway. It represents the early era to the late era. You can see this by how the people are dressed and the cars. Also, I made the frame to look like the buildings at Lakewood. This portrait is copywrited.
Nice work, great to see there is someone else pushin' a brush around for a living.
